Apatite Found across many continents, traces of Apatite were even found in the moon rocks collected by astronauts during the Apollo program. Apatite gems are green or blue, & to the untrained eye, Apatite can be difficult to distinguish from other stones. For this reason, it was named after the Greek goddess Apate, whose name is derived from the Ancient Greek word for 'trickery.' Apatite is the birthstone for December, & it is associated with the Gemini, Libra, & Aquarius zodiac signs. Some relate Apatite with the planet Mercury, which rules communication & learning, which is why it's believed to enhance communication skills & public speaking. Apatite is also linked to the Throat Chakra (5th Chakra), which is associated with communication, self-expression, & speaking one's truth. Some believe it can also be linked to the Solar Plexus Chakra (3rd Chakra), related to confidence, self-esteem, & personal power. 

Aquamarine Yielding from the Latin word for "seawater," Aquamarine is thought to have reflective properties that can reveal hidden aspects of reality. Aquamarine is the birthstone for March & is also given as a gift on the 19th wedding anniversary. Roman fishermen named the gemstone “water of the sea,” & used it as protection for safe travel by boat & for luck in catching fish. Aquamarine was linked to the apostle St. Thomas who frequently traveled by boat. Folklore includes stories of Aquamarine found in mermaids' treasure chests, & it is often associated with the Libra & Gemini zodiac signs because of its connection to love & fidelity. However, it's strongest connection might be to the water signs Pisces & Aquarius. Aquamarine is also a popular birthstone for March, & is said to help facilitate the Throat Chakra, or 5th Chakra, for improved flow of communication.

Julius Caesar claimed Venus as his ancestor, so naturally Pearls became his obsession, & he passed a law decreeing that only aristocrats could wear Pearls in Rome. Freshwater Pearls symbolize harmony & humility, & have been used for gifts & jewelry from Ancient China to Rome & Egypt. Once found strategically placed in a sarcophagus for a Persian princess, sometimes pearls are even gifted for the afterlife. Pearls are most often linked to the Heart Chakra (4th Chakra), encouraging love & compassion, & the Third Eye Chakra (6th Chakra), which influences intuition & clarity. Sometimes pearls are connected to the Sacral Chakra (2nd Chakra), associated with creativity, sexuality, & sensual pleasure, & the Throat Chakra (5th Chakra), which is influential in communication, truth, & authenticity.
