Dancer/Sun-worshipper vibes. Colors are reminiscent of those dreamy pastel California sunsets. This top was purchased from the woman who made it. She was a freelance dancer for hire in Los Angeles & San Francisco in the 1960s-1970s, & she lovingly designed & embellished all her own stage costumes. Her advice for living a happy life? "Do what you love." That's it...
While this is a bikini-style top, you don't want to get it wet. It's more lingerie than your typical swimwear. Sure, wear it to the beach or pool, but don't go swimming in it if you want it to last. It could be useful to keep it out of direct sunlight for extended periods of time, because the colors could fade.
Also, this bikini-style top is around 50 years old, so be sure to take care of it:)
